About Legaspi/RapuRapu
Recipients: Barangays Dapdap and Batan in Rapu-Rapu -Fishing and coal mining, Barangay Binitayan, Daraga -construction labor, Barangay Padang, Legaspi.
All recipients are mostly elementary graduates and some are high school undergraduates, with a few uneducated mothers. The houses of our recipients are made of light materials dirt floors, and no own toilets while others are semi-concrete and concrete with their own toilets. Low standard of living due to lack of educational attainment. Some mothers work in the coal mine.
Ludivina Ballan
Legaspi/RapuRapu Community Coordinator
Ludy, a compassionate soul, was born on May 7, 1968, in Fatima, Tabaco City. Her journey began in 2014 when she eagerly volunteered to serve in BCF. Her dedication to the cause reflects her deep commitment to serving the Lord by positively impacting young lives.
She finds immense satisfaction in witnessing children grow healthy, excel in school, and actively participate in their education. Her completion of basic Health Lesson training underscores her readiness to contribute effectively to BCF’s mission. Ludy’s quiet determination and caring nature make her a valued member of the organization, embodying the spirit of selfless service and dedication to others.
Bountiful’s Community Coordinators
Community coordinators serve with Bountiful as volunteers. They organize other local volunteers and together conduct screenings, train families, distribute locally-purchased nutritional supplements, and follow up on infant development.
