Farming community:  crops, bananas, cassava and vegetables, sugar cane. Most of the recipient  families are plantation workers and the average educational attainment is High school level

La Castellana Community Coordinator

Rowena, originally from Negros Occidental, is a proud mother of three and a cherished grandmother of six. Married to Noel Oliverio for over 37 years. She has dedicated herself to serving. Since 2015, Rowena has been actively involved with BCF, where she finds immense joy and fulfillment in witnessing her recipients grow healthy and active. She is passionate about helping individuals nourish their full potential, especially children, whom she loves to serve with unwavering dedication.

Bountiful’s Community Coordinators

Community coordinators serve with Bountiful as volunteers. They organize other local volunteers and together conduct screenings, train families, distribute locally-purchased nutritional supplements, and follow up on infant development.
