About Antique

Recipients: Barangays Paciencia, Poblacion Sur, Poblacion Norte in the municipality of DaoHamtic 2.1. Barangays Malandog, Piapi 3, Caridad, Guintas in the municipality of Hamtic; Barangay 3, 4, 7, Dalipe in the municipality of San Jose; District 1, 3 and 4 4.2. Barangay Sido, Cubay-Ilabas, Cubay-Sermon in Sibalom; Barangays Integasa, Barbaza Lindero, Laua-an in Bugasong; Barangays Centro Sur, Esperanza, Pandan and Talisay in Culasi.

These are farming and fishing communities raising rice, corn, and vegetables. Recipient families work as farmers and fishermen, and there are a few contractual employees.

One mother is a teacher. Most of the recipient families are high school graduates and high school undergrads, 2 are college graduates. Some houses are made of bamboo with cemented floor, some with plywood.  There is 1 barangay in Dao where people are evacuating in times of typhoon because their houses are built by the seashore.

Antique Community Coordinator

Jocelyn is a hardworking woman hailing from Antique. Despite her demanding schedule, she passionately serves as a coordinator for the Bountiful Children’s Foundation in her area. Jocelyn’s dedication shines through as she ensures that children receive vital support and resources, from supplements to health lessons and regular assessments.

Beyond her commitments, Jocelyn is blessed with a supportive husband who stands by her side, enabling her to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children in their community. Her tireless efforts and the unwavering support of her husband exemplify a true partnership in compassion and service.

Bountiful’s Community Coordinators

Community coordinators serve with Bountiful as volunteers. They organize other local volunteers and together conduct screenings, train families, distribute locally-purchased nutritional supplements, and follow up on infant development.
