Heads of households of recipient families are mostly contractual employees and construction workers. Average educational attainment is high school graduate with some reaching college level. Houses are made of- light materials, semi-concrete, and dirt floors. Some live in informal settlements.

Iloilo/Leganes Community Coordinator

Joyce, born June 21, 1983, in Iloilo City, is a dedicated musician and educator. As a piano teacher and voice coach, she shares her passion for music with students of all ages. Additionally, Joyce teaches English online, enriching lives globally through language education.

Married to Javer Pedroso, Joyce finds joy in her family life. She is blessed with four children who inspire her every day. Beyond her professional and family commitments, Joyce has been a volunteer with BCF since June 2014, demonstrating her commitment to community service. Despite her busy schedule, she prioritizes serving her local community, ensuring recipients receive the support they need.

Bountiful’s Community Coordinators

Community coordinators serve with Bountiful as volunteers. They organize other local volunteers and together conduct screenings, train families, distribute locally-purchased nutritional supplements, and follow up on infant development.
