Maritess Cancino

San Carlos Community Coordinator

Tess is a 50-year-old energetic teacher and mother of two, who began volunteering for BCF in May 2016. She is driven by a strong desire to serve malnourished or undernourished children, believing that serving others is a reflection of serving God. She finds fulfillment in observing the health improvements of recipients and in seeing them apply the health lessons they receive. She has completed the basic health lesson training and remains committed to making a positive impact through her volunteer work with BCF.

Bountiful’s Community Coordinators

Community coordinators serve with Bountiful as volunteers. They organize other local volunteers and together conduct screenings, train families, distribute locally-purchased nutritional supplements, and follow up on infant development.
