Bamitale (above) is the country coordinator who helped start screenings in Ibadan, Nigeria. Coordinators express their joy in being able to help families and children that are found to be malnourished. The smiles on their faces are priceless!

Gbenga is married with 3 children. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is a graduate but is currently not able to find employment. His wife is working at a preschool earning $20/month. Gbenga heard about the screening and was able to bring his daughter.

Tes is a single mother in Nigeria. An LDS church member invited her to come to the screening at the church building. She has been unable to find a job and is relying on the help of others to feed her baby.

Gbenga and Tes's daughters will now receive monthly nutritional supplements to help their malnourished bodies become strong again. The parents will also receive health lessons to help with some education that families in Nigeria aren't as familiar with from purifying water to safe food preparation.
