Bountiful Children’s Foundation has been fighting child malnutrition in the Philippines for 10 years now and is helping in 45 communities. Cristie Deyro, M.D., Bountiful’s regional coordinator in Asia, shares the changes she sees in the children in the program in this video:
Pictured are some graduates from the Bountiful program in the Philippines. Their parents tell us of the happiness they feel in having their children doing well. Xhian wants to be a doctor and Ammon wants to be a missionary. Sarin wants to be an engineer and Louise wants to be an artist.

A typical home for many families in the Bountiful program in the Philippines is pictured below. It is a one-room hut that sits on stilts, and has a bamboo floor, walls made with woven bamboo, and a thatched grass roof. Homes like these are very vulnerable to extreme weather events. The cooking is often done outside of the home. Many families are struggling but feel renewed hope as your assistance reaches them.
