As we look back on 2023, we are filled with gratitude and pride for the incredible strides made by Bountiful Children’s Foundation. Our mission to combat childhood malnutrition and improve the health of children worldwide has seen significant progress thanks to the unwavering support of our donors, volunteers, and community partners.

Expanding Educational Outreach

This year, we developed and disseminated health lessons in multiple languages, empowering families with essential knowledge about nutrition and health practices. Education is a cornerstone of our mission, helping communities understand the importance of proper nutrition and health care for their children.

Delivering Vital Nutrition

Our coordinators delivered over 214,000 nutritional supplements to children and families in need. This effort has been pivotal in addressing immediate nutritional deficiencies and supporting the overall health and development of these children.

Reaching More Children and Mothers

In 2023, we provided nutritional supplements to over 18,400 children and over 2,100 pregnant and nursing mothers. Ensuring that both children and mothers receive adequate nutrition is critical for the health of the next generation, especially in the first 1,000 days of a child’s life, which is a critical period for growth and development.

Volunteer Contributions and Global Reach

Our network of nearly 167 coordinators worked tirelessly within their communities, and volunteers contributed thousands of hours of their time. Their dedication is the backbone of our operations, allowing us to extend our reach to over 170 communities in 20 countries. This global effort is supported by a remarkable 19% increase in donors this year, a testament to the growing recognition of our mission.

Humanitarian Efforts in Guatemala

One of the highlights of this year was the humanitarian trip to Guatemala, where volunteers conducted malnutrition screenings and provided immediate support to those in need. These trips are essential in understanding and addressing the specific needs of different communities, ensuring our interventions are both effective and culturally appropriate.

A Commitment to 100% Donation Allocation

A significant part of our operational ethos is that 100% of all donations go directly toward helping malnourished children. This transparency and commitment ensure that every dollar contributed has a direct impact on improving the lives of children.
