Humanitarian Trips or “Nutri Tours” provide an excellent opportunity to see what Bountiful Children does firsthand. Participants will enjoy:

  • Visiting a country where we are serving malnourished children
  • Participating in screenings and/or supplement distribution
  • Participating in activities and service projects
  • Visiting with families and church members
  • Visiting beautiful tourist destinations and shopping
  • Trying local cuisine

2023 Nutri Tour

  • Philippines – Are you looking for a life-changing trip? Come with us to the Philippines July 6-13, 2023.  The cost is $1800 + airfare. This covers all in-country travel, lodging, food, tourist attractions and service projects. Trip highlights include: helping screen children for malnutrition, a service project and ministering, going to Hundred Islands National Park and enjoying water activities, and visiting the Manila LDS Temple. Trip Itinerary:
July 6 – Arrival in Manila, visit Temple, then on to Pangasinan.
July 7 – AM Screening @Urdaneta, PM Community Service Project @Urdaneta
July 8 – AM Screening @Bayambang, PM Community Service Project @San Carlos
July 9 – AM Sacrament @Calasiao, PM Ministering @Calasiao
July 10 – AM Travel to Alaminos for Hundred Islands National Park, PM Sightseeing
July 11 – Island Hopping and other water activities
July 12 – AM Travel to Dagupan, PM Devotional and service project
July 13 – Departure
      Anyone aged 8-18 is welcome to participate if accompanied by a parent.

Cost

    • $1800 + airfare. The price includes lodging, meals, in-country travel, and tourist excursions.
    • A $500 deposit is due when registering.
    • Volunteer with Bountiful to earn a $10 credit for every hour of service for up to $500 off a humanitarian trip.
