Neil and Cathy Van Leeuwen live in Kaysville, Utah and have been Bountiful supporters for over 10 years.

Cathy shares: “We heard about Bountiful Children many years ago in a newspaper article. It touched our hearts and we felt like we needed to contribute.

“We had just come home from a medical humanitarian trip to Guatemala. Neil is an ENT doctor, and we’ve been to Guatemala many times since then. We love the people of Guatemala, and we were wishing we could do something to help them on an ongoing basis. The Guatemalan children are so warm and kind, the cutest children ever! We love that Bountiful provides nutrition for their bodies and minds to grow and develop properly.

“When we go to Guatemala on our humanitarian trips, we get to interact with a lot of families and their children. We have seen firsthand that parents are the same everywhere! We all love our children and we want to provide whatever they need to grow up and have happy successful lives. This small donation to Bountiful every month helps these families have healthy and strong children. We are all God’s children and these are our brothers and sisters. It has been a great blessing in our lives to be able to be able to help other families out in this way.”

We are so grateful for the Van Leeuwen family and all they are doing to help Bountiful Children’s mission to provide nutritional supplementation to malnourished children and pregnant/nursing mothers as well as to teach health and cognitive development skills to families in the areas we serve. We couldn’t do what we do without our generous supporters!
