Faith Ralphs started helping Bountiful Children in 2016. She and her husband traveled to Paraguay to help with health screenings. She recently authored the Plant-Based Cooking for Kids: A Plant-Based Family Cookbook with Over 70 Whole-Food, Plant-Based Recipes for Kids and donates the proceeds to Bountiful.
Faith shares, ‘I donate to Bountiful Children’s because I can’t imagine having hungry children. The thought breaks my heart. Hunger and poverty have always been the cause that tugs at my heartstrings the most, ever since I was a child. While it’s a hard sacrifice to donate and there are so many other things I want to buy or use money for, I just try to do it without thinking about it too much because I know it’s the most important cause. Because I have been given much, I too must give. I think of how Jesus said, “Freely ye have received, freely give.”
Faith on a NutriTour to Paraquay
Faith shares a little about her humanitarian trip experience. “My husband and I visited Paraguay in 2016 and did health evaluations for the organization. It was during the time of my due date of our second baby who was born early and died. Serving during that time and helping other children to live was just what my heart needed. I know first-hand that BCF uses their donations wisely and that real help is happening.
Faith’s first Bountiful fundraiser
Naty, the regional coordinator in South America, reached out to Faith in the past to ask for help. Faith answered her plea and started a fundraiser to help a community in need. She asked friends to donate $6 to Venmo to help sponsor a community in Venezuela that was in desperate need of food supplements. How grateful we are to Faith, her family, and for your help in this great work to fight hunger one child at a time.
Faith and her husband Carson have started a new fundraiser for Bountiful Children and invite all to participate:
Thank you to Faith and all of those who support Bountiful with their time and means. Bless you!
